Adrish White rolled poha are made from organically grown local variety of rice. Grains of rice are simply steamed, rolled and dried. Recipe for healthy White Poha Porridge –
Ingredients:
a. White Poha – 1 cup
b. Water – 1.5 Cups
c. Milk – 0.5 Cup
d. Pink Salt, cinnamon and nutmeg as per taste
Method –
To make porridge, cook 1 cup of flakes in 1½ cups of water for a few minutes. Keep stirring regularly. Some milk can be added for part of the water for a creamier and soft mix. When almost done add a pinch of pink salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. One can also add raw honey at the dish from above to make it sweet.
Storage – Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration recommended in warm climates.
Suggestion – Wash them in strainer under running water instead of soaking them while making any dish.
